The Final Stretch
With Ramadan coming to an end, it will soon be time to close our doors until we are able to welcome this blessed month once again.
To say that Ramadan flew by would be an understatement, Subhan’Allah! We watched the minutes and hours pass by with the hope of striving to be the best we possibly can.
But was it enough?
Have we really secured the blessings of this month?
Did we pray enough?
Did we read enough of the Quran?
This is the moment where you think to yourself… Well, how did I really benefit from Ramadan?
One thing you need to remember is that Ramadan is a month of training.
It’s a training for the rest of the year, a chance to better ourselves as Muslims and to really excel our characters.
So how will we maintain the spirit of Ramadan?
Here are some handy tips!
- Fast the sunnah days Monday and Thursday
- Maintain your Salah and don’t fall back into old habits
- Dedicate time to the Quran, even if it’s 10 minutes a day
- Continue acts of charity
- Remember Allah often
It might take effort to maintain these acts but one thing to remember – Consistency is key.
‘The most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little.’
Bukhari
So, let’s do this.
Let’s make the spirit of this Ramadan last until the next one.
Let’s keep our efforts consistent.
May Allah accept this Ramadan from us
Ameen
